In 2009 Open Channel, ACFE, City of Port Phillip, SKYS and NITV supported the making of this documentary on Kokatha/Gunditjmara songman Dave Arden & The Parkkies. The documentary made by Aboriginal Media in partnership between the OPEN CHANNEL, NITV, City of Port Phillip and St Kilda Youth film it was produced by Open Channel & Lisa Maza, Aretha Briggs, Tim Church and Arthur Jackson working with industry mentors Alan Collins ACS, Rima Tamou and Peter. Live in Two Worlds gives voice to the 'Parkies', a group of mostly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who congregate in the It also follows Dave Arden, a proud Kokatha/Gunditjmarra man and well renowned songwriter/musician, They come together at Yalukit Wilam Ngargee Aboriginal music festival, where the 'Parkies marshal, And Dave Arden and his band These unique stories highlight family, culture, identity, connection and the resilience of people living in two Worlds.
